Start with setup while connected
Account sign-in and initial business setup need an internet connection. Before you depend on offline access, open the business and records you will need while you are connected.
Offline access means records saved on this device. It does not mean that a new phone can recover your cloud records without internet.
Work with the records on your phone
After setup, supported transaction writes are saved locally and can be queued for sync. You can also view records that have already been saved on your device.
Do not clear app storage, uninstall the app or switch devices as a way to fix unsynced work. Important changes may still exist only on that phone.
Know which actions need a connection
Signing in, inviting members, cloud sync and server-based insights require internet. These actions are different from recording a supported transaction locally.
Account deletion and other network-owned account operations also need a connection or help from support.
Reconnect and review sync status
When a connection returns, open CashKitab and review its sync status. Changes on another device become available through sync; they cannot appear on an offline phone instantly.
A saved local transaction and a completed cloud sync are different states. Keep pending work until the app confirms it has synced.
If something still looks wrong
Keep the app installed and preserve pending records. Note the screen, approximate time and any visible error. Contact support with your app version and a short description of what happened.
